A WOULD-BE thief picked two locks to get into an office at the Swift Co-op in Banbury Road, Kidlington, while staff were distracted.
Police said at about 3.15pm on Thursday, March 8, four woman and two men entered the shop.
While five of the group distracted the store staff, one of the women entered the office by picking two digital locks. Nothing was stolen.
All the group are Asian and aged in their mid-twenties.
PC Elaine Gaskins, based at Kidlington police station, said: "I would ask anybody that may have been in the shop at the time, or saw them in the area to please get in touch."
