How many more letters do we have to read from people from outside Oxford complaining about the city council's bid for unitary status?
What is it to do with people from Cherwell, the Vale of White Horse, Kidlington, Abingdon or any other areas except Oxford?
If the county council had listened to city residents in recent years, and especially in 2006-7, it would have realised that they didn't want change.
Perhaps, because the city has no Conservative members, this is the reason. If it was a Tory-controlled city council, someone at the county might have listened.
Roll on the unitary authority - let's get rid of those who don't represent the citizens of Oxford.
