THERE is a chance that the Conference play-off final could be at the new Wembley.

Conference operations director John Moules has hinted at the possibility of a third non-League clash at the 90,000 super-stadium.

The finals of the FA Vase and the FA Trophy should be staged there.

And Moules said: "We have been in discussions with the FA about the dates of the Trophy final and also the Conference promotion final. It is all looking very positive.

"From our point of view, we would be absolutely delighted to have four sets of Conference clubs, players and supporters visit what must be the best stadium in the world.

"It is a fantastic opportunity for players to perform on the biggest stage.

"It will also be a great advert for Non-League. Although everything is still provisional on builders Multiplex handing over the keys on time, the FA are confident."

The Conference hope to know in about a fortnight.
