The jury in the case of of a woman who denied child sex offences has been discharged.
Christine Nicholson, 53, was standing trial at Oxford Crown Court after denying one count of inciting a child to perform a sexual act and one of engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child.
A jury of nine men and three women began considering verdicts at the court at 11.39am yesterday. After four hours and 10 minutes, they said they had not reached a verdict. Judge David Morton Jack released Nicholson on bail, for a retrial at a date to be fixed.
A court order bans the media from reporting Nicolson's address.
