Drivers in Oxford have taken to the period of grace in High Street with gusto. More than 700 have flouted the ban this week and continued to drive through the bus gate.
Just how long this period of grace is going to last, no one at County Hall will say. With so many cocking a snook at the county council, we suspect it will not be too long.
