THE annual Point-to-Point and Country Day is scheduled to be bigger and better than ever this year.
In addition to the popular races and hound parade, the Easter Monday event on April 9 will include terrier racing, a birds of prey display, ferrets, and the chance to see many other animals.
Organisers are hoping to beat last year's record crowd of about 13,500.
Some of racing's most famous faces have been involved in the event over the years, including the Queen Mother who had runners there.
One of last year's successes - a 'best picnic competition' - will offer even bigger prizes this year.
