A man has been found guilty today of attempted murder following an incident which left his victim in a vegetative state.
The jury found Leonard Morrison, 37, of Bath Street, Oxford, guilty at Oxford Crown Court after five hours' deliberation.
Samuel Marriott-Gray, 21, was stabbed in the skull outside a blues party in Pegasus Road, Blackbird Leys, Oxford, in August.
Family and friends who filled the public gallery sobbed and cheered when the verdict was announced. Morrison is expected to be sentenced later today.
