Enterprising companies and individuals looking to enter the Oxfordshire Business Awards are being urged to come forward to beat Friday's deadline.
To date, more than 130 entries have been received but organisers want to see more, especially in the tourism category where just a handful have been submitted.
Stephen Dexter, chairman of the organising committee, said: "We have been delighted with the quality of the applications received so far but more would be welcome, particularly in the tourism field.
"There are a number of organisations which could be potential finalists in this category but which have yet to enter."
Mr Dexter highlighted the benefits of entering the prestige competition which boosts the profile of winners from the wealth of publicity generated and also offers a massive boost to the workforce.
He added: "There must be plenty of other businesses who would welcome the chance to raise their profile and we are hoping there will be a rush of applications by Friday."
Finalists in the competition which is the highlight on the Oxfordshire business calendar, will attend a glittering awards ceremony being held on Friday, June 15, attended by 400 guests from across the county.
