SANTA Pod Raceway launches its 2007 drag racing season with the Auto Trader Easter Thunderball event.
From April 6 to 9, the UK's fastest venue plays host to a motorsport extravaganza with the fastest, craziest cars and bikes from around the world as well as children's entertainers, helicopter rides, bouncy castles and fun fair rides.
Drag racing action includes the Pro Fuel shootout with 300mph Top Fuel Dragsters and Nitro Funny Cars going head to head in this exclusive one-off race competition and all piloted by Europe's top driving talent.
The MSA British Drag Racing Championship sees wild Pro Modified cars running supercharged or nitrous-injected engines reaching speeds of more than 200mph in about six seconds.
The National Drag Racing Championships has more than 15 different supporting classes of drag cars and bikes that will keep the track action-packed all day include junior dragsters.
Demonstration, stunt and exhibition vehicles incude the world's fastest Jet Car "FireForce 3" which will take to the track with a flame-throwing 270mph performance; 220mph rocket bike demos, monster truck displays and to top it all off there is a fireworks display on the Saturday night.
