A SECOND planning application for ten homes on the timber yard site between the bends in the village is raising concerns. The first application last year by Try Homes was rejected by the Vale of White Horse District Council, but the company has sent in a revised application.
The district councillor for Marcham and Shippon Jane Hanna said she was unhappy with the proposals, in particular the idea for a pavement fronting on to Packhorse Lane. She believes it could create further safety issues on the dangerous bends.
