A DIDCOT management consultant has won £1m on Ant and Dec's PokerFace television show.

Bachelor Dominic Jackson, 42, has become only the second jackpot winner on the ITV1 show.

Mr Jackson said he had spent four hours every day doing 'brain aerobics' to increase his mental powers and bluff 35 other contestants on the show.

He said after his win: "It's life-changing. I've dreamt about what to do with £50,000 or £60,000 but this is different."

Mr Jackson also wants to renew his pilot's licence.

He said: "Instead of saying to my friends why don't we go for a day out in Richmond Park', I'd be able to say why don't we go for a day out to Provence, in my plane. And I'd offset my carbon footprint."

Mr Jackson, who ran his own management consultancy business while investing in property as a sideline, wants to take part in the Le Mans 24-hour sports car race in France.

Six finalists were whittled down from 36 bluffers in the show over six weeks.

Mr Jackson's final competitor was Colin Lynch, 36, an art director and graphic designer from Buxton in Derbyshire.
