Attractive: Alfa Romeo Spider
The British love affair with open-topped Alfa Romeos continues with the new Alfa Spider, which has just gone on sale in the UK.
Derived from Giorgetto Giugiaro's multiple award-winning Alfa Brera design, and sharing much of its platform and components, the Alfa Spider convertible comes in four versions, priced from £25,995.
There is a choice of two petrol powerplants, a 2.2-litre, 185 horsepower unit, and a 3.2-litre 260bhp V6, plus Alfa's widely-acclaimed 2.4-litre 200bhp turbo-diesel.
