UP-AND-COMING Oxford bands brought a welcome taste of rock and roll to the unusual surroundings of a city gallery.
Musicians played sets at Modern Art Oxford, in Pembroke Street, for the Ark-T Live Sessions.
The Live Sessions are regular events organised by the Cowley-based Ark-T Centre, which give young musicians an opportunity to perform in a relaxed atmosphere, alongside musicians from the local community.
Young musicians Adam Whitley, 15, Zahra Tehrani, 18, and Iona Roisin, 17, played at the session.
Friday's free show featured sets by Queen Spleen, Rachel Hughes and The Repeats, and saw the release of a new CD, Ark-T Sessions #2.
Andrew Nairne, director of Modern Art Oxford, said: "We're delighted to host this event to support young, unsigned bands and creative talent of the future."
