THE success of the Messy Jam dance school from Blackbird Leys is an inspiration to all of us.
It shows that no matter how much money is thrown at these kind of groups, nothing can replace genuine passion and talent.
The Blackbird Leys-based youngsters won an astonishing 147 trophies at the XM British Open street dance competition and should be enormously proud of themselves.
Now hopefully they will be able to secure a permanent venue to hold their practices.
Although maybe really dancing on the streets is what gave this street-dance group the edge over the competition.
