RESEARCHERS at Oxford University will receive a £15m grant from the Government to help find more reliable access to clean water for hundreds of millions of people in Africa and South Asia.
International Development minister Baroness Northover will visit the University today at 3.45pm to announce the grant.
Speaking before the announcement she said: “Access to water is a defining challenge for the 21st Century.

“Oxford University’s expertise will ensure we can generate new ways to give up to five million more people secure water resources in some of the world’s poorest countries.”
The announcement comes ahead of World Water Day on Sunday, which calls for urgent action in managing the earth’s water resources.
