THERE was a special guest at Millets Farm Centre near Abingdon when children’s TV star Peppa Pig put in an appearance.

Hundreds of children turned out to meet their favourite pig, who was the main attraction at a VIP tea party on Saturday.

Peppa spent time with the youngsters as they enjoyed a cake-themed tea party with specially decorated tables and party bags.

There were also opportunities for Peppa’s fans to get a photo with their idol at the centre in Frilford.

Two-year-old Poppy Wood from Tackley, near Bicester, was one of those who was turned up for the occasion.

Mum Amy Nudds said: “She loved it, it was the first time we had been to one of the Peppa Pig events at Millets but it was really nice.

“They had a tea party and every child had a lot of time with Peppa.”

All four of the tea parties held on Saturday afternoon sold out, with about 400 people turning out for the event.

Children were encouraged to dress up.
