I THINK it would be a good thing to remove the honours of the Chief Constable and the chief executive of Oxfordshire County Council.
At present the Serious Case Review appears to be a victimless cover-up by both authorities.
The true victims need to have an acknowledgement that how they were treated by these authorities was terribly wrong and this would be one way of doing it.
It would also send a message that middle managers must not let things slip and must enable their bosses to make sure important cases are treated properly.
