DAVID Cameron’s recent announcement that if the Conservative Party are re-elected in May they will immediately seek to overturn the ban on fox hunting shows how out of touch they are.

It also must question his priorities for our country.

Instead of wishing to drag Britain back to a time when it was acceptable to inflict desperate suffering and cruelty on wildlife in the name of sport, he should be focusing his attention on the mess his government has left us in.

Particularity tackling the urgent housing crisis we’ve got, the appalling state of our roads and highways, the desperate state of our NHS and the ever-increasing national debt.
