I READ Keith Brooks’ letter in the Oxford Mail on February 24 regarding the Second World War veteran who was having trouble getting his new blue badge.
Has the gentlemen’s age been written wrong because if the war ended seventy years ago, the gentleman who is now 86 would have been 16 or 17 years of age and would not have seen service.
Maybe as some brave lads did, he lied about his age to enlist.
