MBNS in Thame and Qutis Clinics in Witney and Abingdon are all in the same group of clinics and they provide wrinkle treatments, dermal fillers as well as IPL for skin rejuvenation and laser hair removal. MBNS in Thame was the founding clinic, opening its doors in 2001, whilst Qutis (pronounced Kew-tis) opened in Witney and Abingdon in 2012. The clinics are led by Marea Brennan Thorns, who is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner with a specialist Master’s Degree in Clinical Practice. Marea has over 20 years experience in aesthetic medicine and is well known within the medical aesthetics industry as she has pioneered private nurse led clinics since the 1990’s. She opened her first clinic Berkshire in the 1998 and now her team of nurses and customer service colleagues support all three clinics.

The Practitioner Team: Paula Shurrock RN, Adrian Baker RN and Independent Nurse Prescriber, Kit Meads and Cheryl Pink are the group’s Laser Therapists.

The Customer Service Team: Anne Devenport is the group Marketing Manager and Angela Hunt, Becky Herreros, Millie Baker Smith and Lauren Beacham are the clinic coordinators. Treatments MBNS and Qutis Clinics use a range of dermal fillers to stimulate collagen and to add volume, for example to the cheeks and mid face. Different wrinkle relaxing injections are used to reduce frown lines, which can be combined with Intense Pulsed Light also used for permanent hair removal as well as evening out skin tones and red veins.

Complexion Care

Fewer GP practices will remove benign moles and skin tags these days and because of this MBNS and Qutis nurses will also remove these skin lesions that often occur as the skin ages. The nurses work with strict best practice principles and insist on GP authorisation before a mole may be removed.
