CONTROVERSIAL French politician Marine Le Pen is due to speak in the city tonight despite planned protests.
The leader of the right-wing French National Front party, the third largest in France, is set to speak at the Oxford Union at 6pm.
Oxford Unite Against Fascism, which sent an open letter signed by more than 300 people to the union to rescind its invitation, is set to protest in St Michael’s Street at 5pm.
