A WOMAN living in sheltered accommodation in Banbury had more than £200 stolen after a man entered her premises claiming he needed to check the water pressure.
The woman was asked to fill several pans with water after the man told her it would be switched off later, last Friday.
After the man, who stated he was from the Water Board left the house in Bretch Hill, at about 5pm, the woman realised £215 was missing.
The man was white, aged in his mid-20s, 5ft 10in tall, and of heavy build. He had fair hair that was short and tidy.
He had crooked teeth and wore a grey thick jacket and brown shoes.
