Police experts searching for the body of missing teenager Ben Halsey-Jones, who is feared to have drowned, will be conducting daily boat searches on the River Thames.
Ben, who was 15 and from Wolvercote, fell into the swollen river in Port Meadow on January 21.
The Specialist Search and Recovery Team, from Sulhampstead, which is in charge of the operation, was hoping to dive for the body today but Sgt Jill Williams said the current remained too strong and the water too cold.
Ben's bike was recovered from the river by police divers last Thursday.
Sgt Williams said the four-strong team would be searching the river by boat on a daily basis and would continue the search of the riverbed as soon as conditions allowed.
