POLICE today appealed for help in tracing a missing man who was last seen in Oxford.

Timothy Berendt, 41, is an accomplished juggler and police believe he may be busking on streets to support himself.

A spokesman for Thames Valley Police said: "He was reported missing on January 23 and relatives would like him to get in touch because they are concerned about his welfare."

He was last seen by his mother in Oxford on January 24 and was wearing a black bomber jacket, cream or light coloured jersey and dark coloured trousers.

Mr Berendt is white, 6ft, and heavily built. He has distinctive receding light-brown, shoulder-length hair and blue eyes.

Anyone who may have seen seen Mr Berendt is asked to contact PC Roger Gillett at Aylesbury Police Station on 0845 8 505 505 or, if you do not want to talk to police or give your name, call the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
