ABOUT 3,000 people turned out to watch the annual Boxing Day Heythrop Hunt this morning.
The spectators watched as the 200 horseman and 36 hounds left from the Market Place in Chipping Norton.
The Heythrop Hunt have have not been allowed to hunt foxes since 2004 and now use a scent.
The Hunt came under criticism in 2012 after former hunstman Julian Barnfield and former hunt master Richard Sumnor pleaded guilty to illegally hunting foxes.
Hunstman Simon Lawrence thanked the crowd and said defiantly: "We are not going anywhere."
