CAKE-MAKER Julia Atkinson was one of about 16 traders to display their wares at the Bitten Street food festival at Oxford Castle on Saturday.
The 44-year-old from Summertown usually sets up her stall on Corn Market but on Saturday took her cup cakes with special festive designs to the second event of its kind at the castle.
Mrs Atkinson’s two children, Ruby, 11, and James, 10, enjoyed sampling the wide variety of food including fish and chips and Tibetan curry.
Mrs Atkinson said: “It was good. It was quite interesting because there were a lot of different food traders with a wide variety of food. My kids really enjoyed it.”
