LORD Williams's (Thame) bowed out of rugby's Daily Mail Under 18 Vase with a 20-10 defeat at Reading Bluecoat in the south west fifth round.
The Thame lads had reached the area semi-finals with a 10-5 win over Hitchin Boys School.
YOUNGSTERS from four Oxfordshire primary schools are to get expert coaching from London Wasps as part of a new national intiative.
The Premiership club will work with children from Beckley C of E, Chalgrove, RAF Benson Primary School (Wallingford) and Watlington under the EDF Energy National Schools rugby programme.
Wasp captain Lawrence Dallaglio said: "This is about getting children excited and involved in a great sport."
One school from South Oxfordshire can look forward to taking part in a tag rugby demonstration at the EDF Energy Cup final at Twickenham on Sunday, April 15.
More schools from the county, who are to take part in the scheme, are to be announced in the coming weeks.
