FALLEN trees are reportedly blocking roads in Faringdon and Elsfield, after a “weather bomb” was due to hit Oxfordshire overnight.
The A417 Lechlade Road, Faringdon, is blocked westbound by a fallen tree near Canada Lane, and the main road through Elsfield and through Upper Milton are reportedly blocked.
The Met Office has issued severe weather warnings for Oxfordshire until 9am this morning with high winds and rain.
It is due to a so-called "weather bomb" - a rapidly forming area of deep low pressure - that has been making its way across the country.
