PRINCE Edward will be among the guest speakers tomorrow at the Dorchester Abbey Christmas Concert in aid of Oxford Children’s Hospital.
There will also be readings from author Joanna Trollope, Lewis actor Laurence Fox and champion jockey Sam Waley-Cohen and music from Winchester Cathedral Choir.
The readings will include Charles Dickens’ texts, Oscar Wilde’s The Selfish Giant and an extract from Michael Morpurgo’s War Horse to mark the centenary of the First World War.
Mr Waley-Cohen, the Cheltenham Gold Cup-winning jockey, has a personal connection to the hospital, with Tom’s Ward named in memory of his brother, who died aged 20 from cancer.
