POLICE are helping manage high numbers of festive shoppers at Bicester Village again today, the centre has confirmed.
With traffic already queuing to get in, spokeswoman Miranda Markham said: “November pay day weekend is generally our busiest weekend of the year.
“For the best experience we always recommend people shop in the week.
“There are still spaces in our car park at the moment but we’ve only just opened our doors.”
Traffic sensors show the A41 approaching the retail centre is congested this morning.
Police were called to help manage traffic there yesterday on so-called Black Friday.
Bicester Village had to turn shoppers away due to congestion in the car park with some drivers parking on verges, but it re-opened at 1pm once a temporary car park had been set up.
