Staff at Lloyds Bank in the county could lose their jobs after the company announced plans to close 150 branches across the country in the next three years.
Nine thousand staff will lose their jobs nationwide but Lloyds was unable to confirm which branches would close.
A spokesman said: “The figure of 150 is an aggregate figure and we do not yet know which specific branches will close.”
The company has made 43,000 cuts since 2008 but said it would focus on closing branches in larger towns rather than rural areas.
