BUILDERS colleagues of a mum-of-two who is battling breast cancer wore pink to support a charity.

Workers at DW Support Services hope to raise £500 for Breakthrough Breast Cancer in honour of Tracey Morris, 47, of Herschel Crescent, Cowley.

Staff at the building maintenance firm donned pink hard hats, hi-vis vests and boots on Friday while carrying out repair works at Potters Court extra care home for older people in Greater Leys.

Senior residents’ liaison officer Mrs Morris, who brought pink cupcakes to help donations, said: “I think it was a really great effort by everyone at the company to do this and especially brave of the guys to turn up on site dressed in pink.”

“As well as Tracey, the wives of two other members of our team have been affected by the disease so it is something which is close to our hearts.”
