EMERGENCY works due to be carried out by Thames Water will see Queen Street closed tomorrow.
For three days, buses going down the pedestrianised area will be diverted down Castle Street, in stead of Bonn Square.
Stagecoach Oxfordshire said its 8, 9, N8 and S5 services would continue to run. Its 31, 34 and N31 routes will not the stop on Castle Street and will instead drop passengers by the police station in St Aldates’.
Oxford Bus Company has not yet confirmed if its services are affected.
The work was due to start last week but were delayed due to the St Giles Fair.
Thames Water spokeswoman Sarah Sharpe said: “We’re repairing a collapsed sewer which will take approximately three days.
"The team will be working [24 hours a day] to make sure the work is completed as soon as possible and minimise any disruption.”
