Two men arrested after a protest in Oxford will appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Monday, August 11.

A demonstration by a group calling itself the National Front was confronted by counter-protests by anti-fascist groups, Oxford Unite Against Fascism and Antifa on Saturday.

Dominic O’Dwyer, 26, of Howard Street, Oxford, was charged with theft and obstructing or resisting a constable in execution of duty.

Subira Wahogo, 21, of Magdalen Road, Oxford, was charged with obstructing or resisting a constable in execution of duty and using threatening words or behaviour.

Both were charged on Sunday and bailed.
