Sir – Kennington and District United Church Choirs recently performed Gilbert & Sullivan’s Trial by Jury and HMS Pinafore at various venues in Oxfordshire.
We would like to thank all our audiences for the splendid money raised for Christian Aid (£800), Oxsrad (£350) and Nasio Trust (£13,986.17 — includes Gift Aid and an anonymous gift of £10,000).
Our concerts are free and the total amount goes to the charities without any expenses deducted.
Our next performance will be Handel’s Messiah on Sunday, October 5, at 2.30pm in The Holywell Music Room — free admission with a collection for Helen and Douglas House. All are warmly invited.
