THOUSANDS turned out to enjoy the sunshine at Woodstock’s Carnival on Saturday.
It was opened by the Mayor of Woodstock, Councillor Julian Cooper and included 26 stalls, a Punch and Judy show, a First World War Jeep and a classic Mini.
A parade where entrants collected charity cash with buckets left the Woodstock Arms at 4.30pm and made its way around the market place.
Carnival committee member Rachel Faulkner said: “It is always a good turnout, but we haven’t been blessed with glorious sunshine and good weather like on Saturday for the last few years.”
