Cooking pizza, or other flat breads, is the easy bit; keeping them hot enough to make the last slice as enjoyable as the first is more of a challenge. An economic and simple solution, which will also give a lovely crisp finish to the base of the pizza or homebaked bread, is to use a ceramic pizza stone.
There are lots available, all about 33cm round with metal stands and pizza cutters supplied. They are easy to clean. Just scrape the excess food off and, rinse it when cool under hot water. It makes a good hot plate too when heated in the oven. A pizza stone and metal serving stand costs about £15.
