EMERGENCY services are clearing 100 litres of fuel that has spilled on to the A40 at Headington.
The fire service said they were called at 7.30pm to reports that a car and two articulated lorries had been involved in a collision on the southbound carriageway near the Thornhill Park and Ride.
A spokeswoman said one of the lorry's fuel tanks had been punctured causing diesel to spill out.
She said they were clearing it up to make sure the road was safe to be reopened.
