The Ashmolean Museum’s head of public engagement has become the newest committee member of the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF).
Susan McCormack will attend her first meeting for the HLF South East England committee in June.
The committee is composed of leading figures in the heritage sector across the region, chosen for their range of experience and local knowledge. They are responsible for decisions on regional applications to the fund from £100,000 to £2m.
She said: “I am delighted to be joining the HLF, which makes a real difference to the cultural life of the UK, encouraging hundreds of thousands of people to become involved with and celebrate our diverse heritage every year.”
