An appeal against a decision to refuse plans for an 83-room hotel in Abingdon Road has been launched, with a hearing taking place next month.
A planning application for a three-storey Travelodge hotel on the former UK Bathroom Warehouse site next to the Redbridge Park-and-Ride, was refused planning permission last April by the west area planning committee.
A year later, on April 1, there will be a public appeal hearing at 10am at the Town Hall.
In addition to comments already submitted by Travelodge and the council, members of the public will be allowed to give their views on the proposed build.
