Some 272 people had to wait more than four hours to be admitted, transferred or discharged at county A&E departments in the week to last Sunday, March 9, new figures show.
About 2,321 people attended A&E at Oxford’s John Radcliffe Hospital and Banbury’s Horton General, of which 633 were admitted as the most serious emergencies.
It means 88.3 per cent were seen within four hours against a target of 95 per cent at the hospitals, run by Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust.
