Rail travel between Oxford and London remained severely reduced yesterday, with just five services running in each direction during the day.
Last night a First Great Western (FGW) spokesman said: “Looking at the current weather forecast, we are not currently predicting that services on Thursday will see an improvement.”
Meanwhile all Stagecoach bus routes remained operational with some diversions.
Routes diverted included the 16, 16A, 31,34 and 200.
Services from Oxford Bus Company faced long diversions, causing delays.
Services affected were the CityX3, X13, 300, City35.
Seacourt park and ride reopened, serving the entire 400 service route through to Thornhill.
CrossCountry trains aims to have two trains running in each direction on the hour. A spokesman said: “We aim to have a full service running through Oxford today.”
