TWO items of news (January 28) reminded me of things that, I believe, I read in the past.
The first concerns the Oxford University Museum of Natural History. Did Richard Burton give money towards a new circular building to house the overflow of items which could not be displayed in the present one?
The second item concerns the Botley Road. Because of congestion, I seem to remember that there was a proposal to build a new Botley Road, starting at the Oxpens, which was to travel north of the present road to join the roundabout at Botley.
If I am correct, what happened to these plans?
