THAMES Valley Police are trying to trace Mercedes-Benz drivers whose car badges were stolen last month.

Two teenage boys were arrested on suspicion of theft after five Mercedes badges were stolen from cars parked outside John Lewis in the theatre district of Milton Keynes.

A total of seven Mercedes badges have since been recovered as part of the investigation, although officers can only account for where three of the badges have come from and are keen to trace the owners of the other four.

PC Tina Twiselton, who is investigating the case said: "If the badge from your Mercedes vehicle was stolen in Milton Keynes last month but you didn't report it to police I would urge you to do so now as you may be able to help this investigation."

"We believe all the badges were stolen from 12pm onwards on Friday, November 24, and Saturday, November 25, in the car parks around John Lewis, theatre district and the Xscape building in Milton Keynes."

If you think your badge is one of the ones stolen or you have information about this investigation contact PC Twiselton via 0845 8 505 505.
