Service personnel returning home from Afghanistan will land at Brize Norton in new RAF Voyager aircraft this Christmas.
Two converted Airbus A330s have started making the journey from Camp Bastion back to the UK, providing more space for troops who have finished their tours of duty.
A total of six of the aircraft are in service with the RAF and military bosses hoping a further two will be in service by the end of next year.
