A TWENTY-four-year-old motorcyclist who was injured in a collision with a van on Tuesday has died in hospital.

The man from Kidlington sustained serious injuries and was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital.

The 29-year-old van driver from Horton-Cum-Studley was unharmed.

The crash happened at around 5.10pm on the eastbound carriageway of the A40 between Minster Lovell and Ducklington.

The man's red Yamaha scooter was involved in a collision with a white Hiace van.

 

Officers are continuing to appeal for any witnesses to call 101, quoting URN 1013 of 3/12.
