I LISTENED to Phil Gayle’s interview of our police commissioner Anthony Stansfield, pictured, on Wednesday, November 13. He fumbled every question put to him by Phil. He didn’t know his phone number or his e-mail address.
He again, on November 15, refused to answer Phil’s question put to him on Wednesday about the allocation of money to the different forces under his watch. He knew the answer on Wednesday but did not give it. If this is who we rely on for policing, God help us. I would like to ask Mr Stansfield has he ever visited Kidlington High Street, which is on the doorstep of Thames Valley headquarters, and seen the chaotic state of the ‘non-pedestrian’ area. I would also ask him why his officers have been instructed not to patrol the high street until Cherwell District Council have installed the bollards?
The police patrol Bicester and Banbury.
Why are they treated differently as we all pay the same council tax?
