OXFORD charity Earthwatch is offering people the chance to take part in ten new conservation expeditions including working with turtles in Mexico, crocodiles in Zambia, and whales and dolphins in Scotland.
Projects last from two days to three weeks and costs range from £175 to £1,995. This is a charitable donation which sustains the research, it also covers accommodation, food, training, medical evacuation and the offsetting of volunteer travel.
Crocodiles of the Zambezi needs volunteers for two weeks throughout the year and costs from £1,000. Turtles of Mexico takes place from October to December and costs £895. Whales and Dolphins of Scotland is looking for help in the summer for ten days and costs £750. Early booking is advised.
