A suspect package which turned out to be an old cassette player caused a city centre bomb scare.
Staff at HSBC bank in Cornmarket Street, Oxford, were evacuated after a black plastic bag was found outside the premises at 12.38pm.
Police removed the bag - which contained an old-fashioned tape player - and took it the lost property department.
Spokesman Toby Shergold said nothing explosive was found inside the bag.
