Best-selling author Frances Osborne gave a talk as part of Wantage’s “not-just-Betjeman” literary festival yesterday.
Mrs Osborne, wife of the Chancellor of the Exchequer, spoke about why she likes women who break the rules and the real stories behind her First World War and suffragette novel, Park Lane, at Bistro 14 in Wallingford Street.
The festival ended yesterday.
